Upgrade your bike with a SudmannWheels MX wheelset, designed for riders who have high demands for strength, build quality, and appearance. This wheelset is built for MX and Enduro models and withstands heavy use – whether you race, train, or ride aggressively in the woods.
The wheels are built with quality components and precise lacing for optimal durability, stability, and responsiveness. With a selection of colors and rim types, you can put together a wheelset that matches both your riding style and the design of your bike.
The wheels come fully assembled with stainless steel spokes, Excel rims, and SudmannWheels hubs. The hub comes ready with installed SKF bearings, seals, spacers, screws for the brake discs, and bolts for the rear wheel sprocket.
The spokes are “Bulldog spokes,” the same type used by SM-PRO and Haan Wheels. The standard version is silver, but they can also be supplied in black. The nipples come as standard in stainless steel, but can also be ordered in aluminum in a wide range of colors. For maximum strength, steel nipples are recommended.
The Excel Takasago rim is supplied as original on many bikes, and is what we would call standard quality.
Excel A60 is a reinforced and more rigid rim, and is used by the majority of MXGP riders. It is made from an advanced 7000-series aluminum that provides approx. 15% higher structural strength than many standard rims and earlier Excel models such as the Takasago series. They have a characteristic V-profile that prevents the buildup of mud and dirt, which keeps the bike lighter and more responsive during racing.
